The Climate of Poetry: The Poetry of Climate

As COP26 takes place a mile from Glasgow’s CCA, add your poetic voice to the chorus as part of the Scottish Writers’ Centre’s COP26 Open Mic event chaired by John Bolland.

We’re welcoming poetry that reflects diverse perspectives on the unfolding Climate Crisis – poetry grounded in personal experience and political insight, scientific knowledge and embodied emotion. 

There will be 12 reading slots, open to all, on a first-come basis. Reading slots will be strictly 3 minutes in duration.

Booking is essential for both readers and attendees. You will receive the zoom link on the day of the event.
