Dust off your diaries, sharpen your pencils and prepare your poems for a workout with award winning poet Christine De Luca.

In this first of two Zoom workshops from the Scottish Writers’ Centre this quarter you will work in groups of four on getting the best out of your poem.
Send copies of two poems – one that needs work, and one that you are happy with. Don’t forget to let us know which is which!

Christine De Luca writes in English and Shetlandic, her mother tongue. She was Edinburgh’s Makar for 2014-2017. Besides several children’s stories and one novel, she has had seven poetry collections and five bi-lingual volumes published (French, Italian, Icelandic, Norwegian and English). She’s participated in many festivals here and abroad and numerous translation activities.
