For the second ever Writers’ Reel I was lucky enough to interview Sally Evans. Sally is a poet, editor and publisher who specializes in Historical poetry. She explained to me the process behind writing Historical poetry, with reference to her latest collection “The Burrell Tapestry”, about the relationship between famous art collector William Burrell and his less well-known daughter Marion. Not to be missed by anyone interested in the cross-over between history and creativity, and the ways in which fact-based research can produce a creative project. As always I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! Keep an eye out for the next episode, our Publishing special, which will go live in two weeks on Tuesday the 13th of February.
