The SWC Goes to Skye…

Wednesday 12th June 2013; 7pm,
Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, Sleat, Isle of Skye.

A Night of Conversation, Poetry, and Prose

Catriona-Bateman-Gorman-Paisley

In a collaboration between Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, the SWC, and the Scottish Book Trust, the current writer in residence – Catriona Lexy Campbell – will be hosting a night of conversation, poetry, and prose, in several languages. This is a chance to hear from the writers themselves about the impact that language and culture has on their work (and also to ask some questions of your own). Together with Meg Bateman and Rody Gorman, we will be warmly welcoming Janet Paisley. Janet is an author, poet, and scriptwriter; her last book, Warrior Daughter, was set on the Isle of Skye.

We hope to see you there; a glass of wine will be waiting for you!
