Tuesday 26th March 2013; 7pm,
CCA Cinema Room, Glasgow.

‘Spring Speakeasy’ – Recitals of Poetry and Short Stories in English and Scots

SWC events

Reading one’s own work is a vital experience, as a means to gain feedback and cultivate a distinct voice. SWC members have submitted their writings, and will perform these on the night. Everyone is welcome; a party atmosphere shall prevail!

The Scottish Writers’ Centre is a countrywide resource, which supports national writers and promotes Scotland’s vibrant literary culture. Operated solely by volunteers, the SWC is therefore by writers, for writers – the organisation provides a space for writers to meet, share ideas and experiences about the craft, and learn from those further advanced.

This is a free event, unticketed, open to all.
