In case you haven’t heard, the Scottish Writers’ Centre is hosting a speakeasy at the Mitchell Library on the 9th March in conjunction with the wonderful Aye Write! We’re very excited about the upcoming event, and as Aye Write! is definitely a festival to which the SWC are proud to lend their support, we thought we’d dedicate this blog post to the wonders of Glasgow’s favourite literary festival.

The festival takes place every March, primarily in the Mitchell Library. If you haven’t been before, then the SWC highly recommends that you make this year your first – there’s absolutely something for everyone! This year it’s celebrating its twelfth anniversary, and the festival has undoubtedly gone from strength to strength in the past few years. Below we’ve selected a few of the events that we think our SWC members will love. We hope that you have a brilliant Aye Write! and please let us know about the events you enjoyed the most!
