Cynthia Rogerson is Programming Director of Moniack Mhor Creative Writing Centre, in the beautiful Scottish Highlands (just fourteen miles from the city of Inverness). Since their first course in 1993, Moniack Mhor has been running creative writing courses tutored by some of the finest authors in the UK and beyond. Cynthia has been a director since 2004.

How has she managed to balance her work at Moniack Mhor with her own writing? To publish four novels and a collection of short stories, in addition to being broadcast on BBC radio and included in various anthologies and magazines? Her book, I Love You, Goodbye, was also shortlisted for the 2011 Scottish Novel of the Year, and developed into a Woman’s Hour serial. She won the V.S. Pritchett Prize in 2008.

Come along to hear how it’s done, and what kind of support Moniack Mhor offers all writers.

Tickets: £6 (£3 for SWC members and concessions.
